Peter Dreide already excelled at a young age with determination and a sense of responsibility. So it was clear, following his beginnings in investment consultancy at the Deutsche Bank AG, that the later founder and CIO of TBF Global Asset Management GmbH, would move to Canada in 1992 to take up new challenges. There, he worked for McLean McCarthy in the field of institutional brokerage and headed the international sales department for German customers.
After that, he held executive positions at Barclays de Zoete Wedd, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in London and was head of domestic and international sales for the Deutsche Bank Securities in Canada.
In 2000 he moved back to Germany with his wife and three children and founded his own company, TBF Global Asset Management GmbH, where he holds the function of chief investment officer to this day.
The graduate in economics and economics, he began his investment career at the Bankers Trust in 1987 and after working for JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort was the last 11 years CIO of Ethenea Independent Investors and chief executive of global bonds in developed nations. He was instrumental in the success of the company and was able to deliver decisive added value for all bond portfolios with his approaches.
He has been a member of the TBF team since August 2019 and as senior portfolio manager he is responsible for his own balanced mutual fund. In addition his know-how also benefits the other TBF funds.
